Janet K. Song, DDS
It is my privilege to transform people’s lives through changing smiles. My commitment is to giving people confidence in themselves and their smiles. I feel so blessed every day that I can have a career I love doing. How many people can truly say this is what they were meant to do?!
I was born in Korea and moved to Jamaica with my family when I was ten. I lived in Delaware until I was 22 and went to the University of Delaware for my undergraduate education.
My father, a physician, encouraged me to go into dentistry, and I’m very glad I listened to his advice. I attended Georgetown University for my Doctorate of Dental Surgery and completed my General Practice Residency at Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic.
I worked as an associate dentist for five years and opened my own office in 1993. Our goal is to make patients feel at home and well-taken-care of. Along with my team, we welcome patients of all ages and with all dental needs.
While my focus remains in cosmetic dentistry, I have taken many continuing education courses to keep abreast of all the latest cutting-edge technologies and procedures. I completed a four-year continuing education course in orthodontics and Invisalign® to offer my patients a full range of comprehensive options to improve their bite and their smile. I continually strive to utilize the most modern techniques to offer my patients superior care.
My husband Jim and I were married in 1996. We had our daughter Amanda in 2000, and have since added two dogs to our family. When I’m not in the office, I love to ski, swim, do hot yoga, hike, and shop.
